The Elvis Presley Birthplace is a biographical museum and park in Tupelo, Mississippi. It features the site where the King of Rock and Roll took his first breath in January 9, 1935.

Featuring a little frame home that was built by Vernon Presley for $180, the Elvis Presley Birthplace is a very modest and simple property where Elvis Presley was introduced to the world. The tour of the place will only take about ten minutes, but the site also offers a small park with informative signs and other things to see and enjoy. The site is described offering a ?uniquely human perspective on the life of the man who changed American music?.

Restored to its 1930s appearance, the Elvis Presley Birthplace is open all year round from Mondays through Sundays, except for Christmas and Thanksgiving.
