The George P. Cossar State Park is a state park and recreation area in Oakland, Mississippi. It is touted as a sportsman?s paradise, offering excellent fishing and hunting opportunities to the public.

Named after a prominent 20th century Mississippi attorney, the George P. Cossar State Park is located at the Enid Reservoir. It is equipped with facilities necessary to make an outdoor experience fun and comfortable. It has 83 campsites, 35 of which are waterfront sites and 48 are naturalized wooded camping areas. There are also cabins available for rent.

Aside from these, the George P. Cossar State Park also has a putt putt golf course, an 18 hole disc golf course, and a playground. The site is best known for hunting and fishing, though.
