The Highway 61 Blues Museum is all about the music and its makers. The site is named after the famous Highway 61, which is best known for being the place where all of the legendary Mississippi blues artists hail from. And true to its name, the museum features artists from the area. They also host the annual Highway 61 Blues Festival, which is also a fundraiser that keeps the site open.

The Highway 61 Blues Museum is open on Mondays through Saturdays from 10 am up until 5 in the afternoon. They are also open by special appointment.
