The Jimmie Rodgers Memorial and Museum is set in Meridian and pays tribute to Jimmy Rodgers, a popular country musician and well-rounded entertainer. In the museum, majority of his personal items is what is featured inside like clothing pieces, music sheets, his guitar and other important memorabilia of his time, all up for display.

Rodgers is also known for being the Father of Country Music since he has a very deep impact on the lives of many especially the locals of the state. There is even a Jimmie Rodgers Foundation that is assigned to strive on preserving the classic potential of the country music. They present special musical events that give tribute to the music genre all throughout the entire year.
