The Roosevelt State Park is a state park and recreation area in Morton, Mississippi, between the cities of Jackson and Meridian. It is widely known for its picturesque scenery and great offers of outdoor recreation.
Most famous for its wonderful autumn look, the Roosevelt State Park is packed with a lot of things to see and do. For one, it has a scenic overlook that provides panoramic views of the Bienville National Forest. The park is also perfect for camping, picnicking, water skiing, fishing, and boating. It is also equipped with a lighted softball field, a playground, tennis courts, nature trails, an activity building, vacation cabins, and a pool with water slide (open from the Memorial Day weekend until the Labor Day weekend).
