Simmons Arboretum is a nature area and walking trail park located in Madison, Mississippi. It is maintained by the City of Madison?s parks and recreation department.

Simmons Arboretum is located in a 10 acre parcel of land donated to the city by Dr. and Mrs. Walter Simmons. It is currently intended to be a walking part and has several slag walking trails for park visitors. There is an outdoor learning center in the arboretum in order to facilitate environmental education in the park. Park visitors will notice many of the Mississippi native plants, trees, and shrubs have been labeled.

The park trails are now over 1.6 kilometers long and features bridges, swinging bridges, and overlooks. The park is also undergoing continuous improvement and there are further plans for facilities and specimen planting and labeling.
