Also known locally as the Shrine Mosque, the Abou Ben Adhem Shrine Mosque is a building owned by the Ancient Arabic Order of the Nobles of the Mystic Shrine, or the Shriners, a fraternal organization which is related to Freemasonry. It was built in 1923, featuring five stories, a large 4000-seater auditorium, and an architectural style reminiscent of arabesque motifs.

The Abou Ben Adhem Shrine Mosque is the home of the annual Shrine Circus sponsored by the group. With its grand architecture, this structure is also deemed as one of the most outstanding Shrine Temples in the United States.

Listed in the National Register of Historic Places, the Abou Ben Adhem Shrine Mosque is open to the public. It is commonly used as a venue for concerts and other events, as its auditorium can fit in thousands of people and has a large stage.
