The Arrow Rock Historic Site is a major part of the historical town of Arrow Rock. This is a museum that features the ancient past and rich culture that started in the serene village which was also known as the Boone’s Lick County.

The museum is home to the works of the 1800s artist George Caleb Bingham along with his own home restored and refurnished to make the visitors feel as if they have transported as to when he was still alive. You will also find here an ancient 1834 tavern, the historical courthouse, the stone jail, and the home of the town doctor. All the historical buildings around the rock history museum can best be viewed by joining a walking tour package.
