The Battle of Athens State Historic Site is a state park, historic site, and recreation area in Revere, Missouri. It stands along the banks of the Des Moines River and is best noted for being the site where the Battle of Athens took place.

In what was originally known as the town of Athens, the Battle of Athens State Historic Site can be found. It is best noted for being the location of the most northernmost Civil War battle located west of the Mississippi River. Despite being a small event, with a few casualties, it still managed to be quite a notable site, especially since the town became a ghost town a couple of decades later.

The Battle of Athens State Historic Site was originally formed as the Battle of Athens Park by remaining local residents and was transferred to the state in 1975.
