The Cuivre River State Park is a state park and recreation area in Troy, Missouri. It is a massive outdoor destination, covering more than six thousand acres of space.

Established in 1946, the Cuivre River State Park was originally developed by the Civilian Conservation Corps and the Works Project Administration as a federal recreation demonstration area in the 1930s. a decade later, its ownership was passed to the state of Missouri. It currently contains the Big Sugar Creek Wild Area, the North Woods Wild Area, and the Lincoln Hills Natural Area.

Visitors of the Cuivre River State Park can enjoy several recreational activities. These include hiking, backpacking, fishing, camping, swimming, biking, boating, and picnicking. Interpretive programs are also offered by the park?s management.
