The Gen. John J. Pershing Boyhood Home State Historic Site is a state park and historic site in Laclede, Missouri. It is noted for its association with one of America?s highest ranked military officers, General John J. ?Black Jack? Pershing.

Created in 1952, the Gen. John J. Pershing Boyhood Home State Historic Site commemorates and preserves the boyhood home of General John J. Pershing. Pershing is best noted for leading the American Expeditionary Forces during the World War I and got to the rank of General of the Armies, which is the highest possible officer rank in the US Army. Pershing is one of the only two to have achieved such title, alongside George Washington in 1976.

Visitors of the Gen. John J. Pershing Boyhood Home State Historic Site can enjoy tours of the old home as well as picnicking and participating in the interpretive programs available at the site.
