The Lake of the Ozarks State Park is a state park and recreation area in Kaiser, Missouri. It is best known as the largest unit in the Missouri state parks system.

Established in 1946, the Lake of the Ozarks State Park was originally owned by the US National Park Service. It was initially created as a part of the Recreational Demonstration Areas when the Lake of the Ozarks was built in the 1930s. The site?s ownership was transferred to the state following the Second World War.

Covering more than seventeen thousand acres, the Lake of the Ozarks State Park offers a lot of recreational opportunities to the public. Visitors can easily enjoy boating, fishing and swimming at the lake, as well as hiking, camping, horseback riding, biking, backpacking, and picnicking. Cave tours and interpretive programs are also available.
