The Lake Wappapello State Park is a state park and recreation area in Williamsville, Missouri. It is a well known outdoor destination among folks who are after some great recreational opportunities.

Created in 1956, the Lake Wappapello State Park is most popular among fishermen. With the Wappapello Lake fully stocked with white bass, bluegill, crappie, catfish, and largemouth bass, these enthusiasts flock to the park to try their luck at reducing the population of the said fishes. The site is also ideal for several other recreational opportunities like hiking through its four trails that have great views of the lake, camping in one of its several basic and electric campsites, swimming at its swimming beach, boating and fishing at the lake, as well as horseback riding, biking, and backpacking.
