The Meramec State Park is a state park and recreation area in Sullivan, Missouri. It is best noted for its massive size and excellent natural and recreational features.

Located approximately 60 miles outside St. Louis, the Meramec State Park sits along the Meramec River. This location helps the site become quite a well known destination among outdoor enthusiasts, as it is relatively near the city and has rich and diverse ecosystems. It contains glades and hardwood forests, as well as more than 40 caves.

Created in 1927, the Meramec State Park has always been a great place for recreation. Its visitors enjoy canoeing, camping, fishing, hiking, boating, swimming, and backpacking. Cave tours are also very popular, especially since the park has plenty of such things.
