The Missouri State Museum is a museum, managed under the Missouri state parks system by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, in Jefferson City, Missouri. It is located inside the Missouri State Capitol, at the first floor of the said historic building.

Created in 1919, the Missouri State Museum has the distinction of being the best place to go to when trying to learn more about the state of Missouri. It is best described as the state’s showpiece museum, exhibiting the very diverse culture of the past and present of the state. They also have displays of its unique natural features and resources.

Like many other museums, the Missouri State Museum also boasts of changing museums. It is home to more than sixty five thousand artifacts, so visitors will definitely find a thing to see and marvel at around here.
