The Patee House or Patee House Museum is a National Historic Landmark in St. Joseph, Missouri. It played a huge part in many significant events that happened around its area, meriting itself a place in the list of 1000 Places to See in the USA and Canada Before You Die series.

Originally built as a luxury hotel, this 140 room building also served as the headquarters of the Pony Express and home of the Patee Female College and the St. Joseph Female College. It also housed the family of the infamous Jesse James after his murder, when their home was needed to be investigated. After a while, it was transformed into a factory and area for light industrial works.

It was only in 1963 when it was made into the Patee House museum.
