The Polar Bear Plunge is a very unique event in its own right. It is open for any types of individual from businessmen to ordinary and sporty people, it involved jumping, crawling, and diving right into the extremely cold lake of the state.

Every year, there is an estimate of about 500 participants who bravely take in the challenge right at the freezing water of the Lake of the Ozarks. There is also a run that measures 5k right at the 7th yearly Polar Bear Strut which is held both at the Skate park and the lake. The event is one momentous way of gathering up the communities into a common goal of celebrating its natural resources. It is perfect to be joined by anyone.
