The American Computer Museum, founded by George and Barbara Keremedjiev, contains the most comprehensive information resources on the history of the information age. The information age development that took 30,000 years to reach will be understood better through the museum?s timeline merging French ancient cave paintings, ideologies of the Enlightenment, American Revolution, the expeditions of Lewis and Clark, the Pony Express, technologies like the telephone, radio, television, and lastly, computers and the Internet.

People who are fond of anything related to computers will surely consider this place as a wonderland. The collection, starting with a mechanical calculator in 1980, has become so big that only 6 percent of it can be displayed. However, this still leaves more than 1,000 items available for viewing.
