Located on the Crow Indian Reservation, the Chief Plenty Coups State Park and Home is a public venue where folks can learn more about the great life of Chief Plenty Coups or Alek-Chea-Ahoosh. It is where his house once stood, built in 1884.

Chief Plenty Coups is best known for being the last traditional Apasalooke tribal Chief. Also known as the Chief of Chiefs, he and his wife decided to give their property to the Big Horn County, as a token of his friendship for all people.

The Chief Plenty Coups State Park and Home is a National Historic Landmark. It is now the location of the only Apasalooke culture museum in the country. It also features a memorial of Chief Plenty Coups.
