Once called home by Kalispell?s founder, Charles E. Conrad, this Norman-style mansion was originally built in 1895 by the Missouri River trader and Montana pioneer. It was owned and resided by Conrad?s descendants until 1964. In 1975, the family has decided to donate the property to the city.

Today, the Conrad Mansion is open to the public as a museum. It has been restored to its Victorian elegance by the city, and nothing has been changed to the whole estate ever since its original construction.

Visitors can see the Conrad Mansion from May to October yearly. During these times, folks could explore the house?s 9 bedrooms, complete with its original furnishings, including the furniture, toys, and chinas. The garden is also something to marvel at, with its colorful flowerbeds and landscape.
