The Garnet Ghost Town is a ghost town in Missoula, Montana. It is located in the Garnet Mountain Range built by the gold miners and their families in the late 19th century.

The Garnet Ghost Town is named after the precious stone, garnet, which was the first thing mined in the site. Gold just followed after it, so it was named as such. It reached its peak in 1898 when it became the home of 1000 people. It was abandoned 20 years later when the mines closed and the gold ran out. A fire also damaged half of the town in 1912 and was never rebuilt.

The Garnet Ghost Town is best noted for being the best preserved ghost town in all of Montana. It is also home to the Garney Day Festival which takes place in late June every year.
