The Hearst Free Library is a library open to the public of the city of Anaconda which was started since 1898. It is filled with all the variety of resources that can give you a wide range of information for whatever is the purpose of your search. From books, articles, audio books and down to events, you can find everything you need in this public library. When you search the Net, you would find out about the history of your library and their current efforts on making it the best one in the Southwest part of Montana. They are open Monday to Saturday except for Sundays.

This library is always at its feet to render the best service they can offer. They are proud of considering themselves to be one of the best and known to be one of the most innovative libraries one can find in the state. They are in partnership with the Montana Library Association. It also has ten computers ready for use already, which all have internet access.
