The Historical Museum at Fort Missoula is a museum complex in Missoula, Montana. It features the historic Fort Missoula as a centerpiece, as it is located at the very site.

Fort Missoula was built in 1877 as a way of answering the citizens? demands of having protection from the attacks of the Native Americans. It became the home to the famous Buffalo Soldiers of the 25th Infantry Regiment in 1888. It was also used during the WWII as a prison camp for Italian POWs, which allowed it to become known as the Bella Vista.

Today, the Historical Museum at Fort Missoula tells of all the stories that happened in the area. It offers a great array of displays and exhibits including 13 historic structures and 23,000 historic objects inside its 32 acres.
