The Hockaday Museum of Art contains a well-maintained permanent collection consisting of works by notable area artists, including the museum’s namesake Hugh Hockaday. Other featured artists are Russel Chatham, David Shaner, Ace Powell, Leonard Lopp, Gary Schildt, Charlie Davis, Bob Scriver, Francis Tobie, and a lot more. The Museum aims to enrich the community and region’s cultural life and preserve the state and the Glacier National Park’s artistic legacy.

The Hockaday Museum has a lot of offerings for its visitors. It has an area where visitors who bring their own easel can paint. There are also art education programs where guests can register. The Musem is also the only one in the nation that focuses on Glacier Park as well as the art and culture of the Blackfeet Indians.

Its Wall Gift Gallery is a source of glass, pottery, cards, jewelry, book, and other unique items.
