The Living History Program are held during weekends of the Memorial Day of the place and also through the weekend of Labor Day during the entire summer season. It takes place in the Outdoor Living History Museum where you can find the widest collections that are made up of artifacts from the old west that is in the exteriors of the Smithsonian.

In the site, you can find a total of 100 buildings that come with a design of the 18th to 19th century. It is also where you can find available interpreters that count up to about 70. Each visitor can relive the experience of being in the era of the Gold Rush and see how life was like in the old west times.
