Another one of the contributing properties to the Great Northern Railway Buildings National Historic Landmark District, the Many Glacier Hotel is a 1915 accommodation venue that features a Swiss alpine theme. It is a very interesting sight to behold, as it sticks to a very cohesive architectural design.

Considered as the “Gem of the West”, the Many Glacier Hotel was a part of the Great Northern Railway’s scheme to promote the Glacier National Park as a top tourist destination. Most of the other hotels and chalets in the series also sport a Swiss theme.

Today, the Many Glacier Hotel still continues to operate as a grand inn for visitors and vacationers. It further promotes quality time with the great views in the area, and does not have TV sets in their rooms.
