Montana is a very beautiful and interesting state, filled with history and heritage. This is mostly attributed to its great mining past, making the area overflowing with curious historic attractions. Marysville is one of such sites.

Marysville is basically one of the many communities in Montana that is considered as a ghost town. The site is the remains of the booming gold camp known as Drum Lummon Mine which operated around the late 1800s. At its peak, it was home to 3000 residents and the center of gold mining in the states.

Today, Marysville is a historic area with a few historic structures welcoming visitors. There are old homes and even a baseball field with bleachers. It is located 25 miles out of Helena.
