The Musselshell Valley Historical Museum allows visitors to relive the days of the old west, abounded by cowboys and cattle drives. The Museum boasts of more than 7,000 square feet of exhibition space, where visitors to the Museum get to tour an original log cabin that was built by English Lords cattle operation during the early days.

It features the general store of the old west where people used to buy supplies, get mail, and chat with fellow residents; the one-room school house where the children and their teacher hold their learning experiences; and the old hospital, which was recreated in order to display the early medicine and tools for trade. The Museum also displays the antique objects in the rooms in a way that the visitors could take a look at them carefully while visualizing how the room would have looked back in those days.

A collection featuring rock, mineral, and fossils are also displayed inside the Museum, which also contains a wildlife display, replica coal mine shaft, telephone operators switchboard, a blacksmith's shop, western art and much more.
