The Myrna Loy Center for the Performing Arts is a performing arts venue and space in Helena, Montana. Established originally as the Helena Film Society in 1976, it has always aimed to provide an alternative cinema experience to the small city, although it has always been home to different community arts projects that involve poetry, theatre, multimedia, and musical events.

In 1985, the group received the National Endowment for the Arts Advancement grant that allowed them to begin the creation of the Myrna Loy Center. It is now housed in the historic 1891 Lewis and Clark County Jail in the downtown area. It was named after Myrna Williams, best known as Montana?s First Lady of Film. Myrna Loy grew up in Helena as a daughter of the youngest person to be ever elected to the Montana State legislature, David Williams.
