The Red Lodge Mountain Resort is a ski area in Red Lodge, Montana. It is a noted sporting area, especially with the Beartooth Mountains being its playground.

The Red Lodge Mountain Resort started out in the late 1950s when a group of Red Lodge and Billings skiers founded the Grizzly Peak, Inc. The group opened the Red Lodge Grizzly Peak n January 1960 after raising $250,000 through stock sales. They established the “perfect place for a modern ski area”.

The Red Lodge Mountain Resort started small with only one double chair, three trails, and a lodge. However, it grew over the next couple of years and expanded largely a good number of times through time. Its last expansion took place in 1996.
