Built by Timothy Collins, a businessman who moved to Montana during the gold rush, the 1891 Timothy Edwards Collins Mansion is a site listed on the National Register Historic Places as of the year 1980. This home sported a Victorian, Queen Anne style architecture and is filled with woodwork of the same motif inside.
Today, the Timothy Edwards Collins Museum operates as a five room bed and breakfast and event center. The site features century-old trees, a garden gazebo, and a bubbling fountain in its grounds. It also offers Murder Mystery Dinners that are available for private parties with a minimum requirement of 4 people. Accommodations are also obtainable, although, make sure to book in advance as there are limited rooms available.
