The Arbor Day Celebration in Nebraska is celebrated on a yearly basis every last Friday of the month of April. In fact, every state in the US has this celebration. It is a gathering of tree planters all around to encourage others to be tree planters themselves and have extra yet genuine care for the environment.

It is a huge celebration that is important to the residents of the city because the place is where the actual event originated way back in 1872. It was started by J. Sterling Morton. It features live entertainment plus a lot of activities for the children to enjoy. It even has a trail run at 5k along with a parade and other family activities held at the historic center.
