What started as a collection of buildings that depict the older generations? life in Western Nebraska has grown largely and massively today, creating Dobby?s Frontier Town. Founded by Kenneth Dobby Lee in 1988, this community is continuously growing despite being handed over to volunteers.

The town initially has 19 buildings under its care, including the town?s first filling station, a mortuary, saloon, general store, bootlegger?s cabin, and a diner that was first opened in the late 1920s. Celebrations are also held in Dobby?s Frontier Town every fall to celebrate the Old West and the History of Alliance, Nebraska.

Admission to the Dobby?s Frontier Town is for free, although, donations are accepted to help in the upkeep and maintenance of the place.
