The desert city of Las Vegas in Nevada became even hotter when the Erotic Heritage Museum opened on August 2, 2008. Sexuality meets history when the 24,000 square foot museum was added to the ?adult? district of the so-called Sin City in the United States.

The museum was founded through the efforts of Harry Mohney, the founder of the D?j? vu strip club chain. In light of the museum?s belief that ?sexual pleasure and fun are natural? parts of human existence, the museum showcases various works of ?erotic art?. The museum likewise celebrates the events leading to the 20th century phenomenon called the ?Sexual Revolution?.

The Erotic Heritage Museum is open to all people 18 years old and above. The museum also conducts lectures and symposiums to promote, educate and celebrate the country?s erotic heritage.
