The Omaha, Nebraska experience will not be complete without paying the Old Market a visit. Old Market is a historic district in downtown Omaha popular for a myriad of entertainment, commercial and cultural activities. Established in 1901, the brick-paved streets populated by horse-drawn carriages evoke an old-school feel, which makes the neighborhood an ideal place to chill out and have a good time.

The historic neighborhood is bordered by the Jobbers Canyon Historic District, as well as the Omaha Rail and Commerce Historic district. The streets are lined with street performers and artists, as well as vendors. The buildings are amalgam of restaurants, art galleries, shopping and residential establishments.

From Harney to Jackson, visitors will be greeted with multitude of things to do, go to, and buy. Omaha Old Market is close to other Omaha attractions such as the Joslyn Art Museum, Orpheum Theater, and Omaha Civic Auditorium.
