If you are fascinated with American history and learning about the way things are invented interest you, then you shouldn’t miss visiting Nebraska’s Pioneer Village located in Minden in Kearney County. They have the biggest personal collection of everything American that you won’t find elsewhere. It was established by a Minden local named Harold Warp in 1953.

The 20-acre museum complex consists of 28 structures that houses more than fifty thousand historical items from the 1830s up to the present. This includes cars, tractors, planes, frontier buildings, farming tools and art. Most of the items were refurbished to operate again, displayed in groups and in chronological order. The rest of the compound comprising the Pioneer Village serves as a motel, a restaurant and a camping area. They are open for visitors daily throughout the year.
