The Polish heritage center was formed to preserve the ancestral language, culture and traditions of the one of the most important early settlers in Nebraska. The Village of Ashton is where the Center is Located and is a mainstream of the region.

The vision of the founders of the Polish Heritage Center had an initiative to refresh the minds of everyone in the area to maintain having pride in their heritage by having exhibits and displays such as cultural artifacts containing books, music pieces and local ancestral records and authentic photographs and works of art from the early times.

The Polish Heritage Center is also a host to several meetings and special occasions. The museum offers everyone to take time to take a look back at Ashton?s past with embedded examples of folk art and music that everyone will certainly enjoy from. One of the most important goals of the center is to provide knowledge to everyone and help in giving a broader understand of the Polish homeland and culture.
