Brewery Arts Center is the cultural heartbeat of Carson City, Nevada. It is home to several facilities that are perfect for all kinds of events from major performances to intimate shows to ballroom dances. It can also be the perfect venue for your next party, wedding or board meeting. Consist of two unlikely building, an old brewery building from 1864 and the former St. Teresa Church, Brewery Arts serves as an educational institution, an art gallery, a concert hall and a theatrical company.

The Brewery Arts Center (BAC) is one of Reno-Lake Tahoe's most active cultural center, hosting dozens of events each year in multiple facilities including theater productions, concerts, art classes, kid?s programs, recitals and receptions. Founded in 1979, it has since become a destination for Nevada art patrons as well as tourists.

The center's 1864 Grand Ballroom has the elegant look and feel of the Victorian era and can easily accommodate 100 with banquet style seating, 150 for theater style seating. The BAC Performance Hall is equipped with a lighting grid, programmable light design, Nexo Line Array sound system with digital console, dressing room, large lobby, and restrooms, perfect for concerts and other public performances. Dedicated in 2010 to the locally renowned producer, promoter and patron of the arts, the Maizie Harris Jesse Theater can accommodate many types of public performances and theater productions. Visitors can also visit the Artisans' Gift Shop which showcases the work of nearly two dozen artists with beautiful jewelry, unique glass creations as well as pottery, paintings and photography. The Artisan Cafe serves coffee and breakfast pastries as well as lunch. Tickets to upcoming events, classes and concert information are also available at the cafe.
