The Reno-Tahoe Blues Fest is held yearly that is a wide celebration of culture, history and even the genuine spirit of blues music for two days. It attracts numerous audiences coming from all around the US just to witness and hear the biggest blues performers in the genre. The mission of the event is to give support to those youth taking up music education right in the Reno-Tahoe area.

It comes with a scholarship programs and continuous educational assistance for those young people who truly deserve it. This includes support in the provision of musical instruments needed in school along with other jazz and blues programs. Some of the many artists who have been included in the event already were Gladys Knight, Betty Wright, Bobby Rush and The Whispers.
