The Ahern State Park is a state park in Laconia, New Hampshire. It is best known for its nature trails, making it a popular choice among bikers and hikers.

Covering 128 acres worth of area, the Ahern State Park features 3500 feet of Lake Winnisquam?s shoreline. Originally owned by the local government and known as the Governor?s State Park, the site offers a fairly limited amount of activities but is still quite known for its great natural setting.

Renamed as the Ahern State Park in 1998, this protected area is favored for its well maintained trails and stunning lakeside views. It is also open all Year round, albeit unstaffed. Visitors are also required to follow the Carry-In/Carry-Out Program that New Hampshire?s State Parks system adheres to.
