The Bedrock Gardens is privately owned by Jill Nooney, a whimsical sculptor, horticulturist and landscape designer with Bob Munger who is an engineer and hardscaper. They started this 20-acre garden on a 35-acre piece of land located in Lee, New Hampshire, 7 years after buying it in 1980. The land came with a 1740?s farm house, a barn, and an outhouse.
It was named after its existing ledge and the 2 owners have never stopped developing the place since they started twenty years ago. Today, the Bedrock Gardens operate under the theme of ?the garden as a journey?. Aside from being nature?s gallery with its rich flora, the garden is also an open art gallery for Jill?s and other artists? sculpture.
The Bedrock Gardens is open to visitors 4 days a year or by appointment.
