At the village proper of Canterbury Shaker Village, visitors can enter various historical buildings and witness costumed actors and interpreters demonstrate the lifestyle and other common activities that Shakers were involved with in the past.

If you?re interested in outdoor pursuits, the Shakers Village also offers hiking and other natural trails as well as picturesque ponds and breathtaking views.

Visitors have three options when touring the site; they can ask for a guided tour, explore on their own, or schedule for a group tour if they?re accompanied by a large party.

Souvenirs may be purchased at the Museum Store. You can also enjoy a meal either at the Greenwood?s restaurant or by purchasing the Shaker Box Lunch if you wish to enjoy a traditional and completely organic Shaker meal.
