The Dixville Notch State Park measures about 127 acres of land which is filled with scenic scenes of waterfalls and gorge in the middle of mountain brooks. Within the park is where you can find lots of hiking trails that lead to the mountains that are near the place and the popular Table Rock. The park is open to the public since it has no rotating staff.

It is only one of the state parks that are open for pets too. Without the presence of the staff, it encourages all its visitors to clean their own trash and be contributory to keeping the entire park amazingly beautiful and clean for everyone to visit. It is also friendly to visitors who are disabled.
