The Eisenhower Memorial Wayside Park is a small park and recreation area in Carroll, New Hampshire. It is best known for its stunning views.
Founded in 1979, the Eisenhower Memorial Wayside Park was actually a gift from the Bretton Woods Corporation. It was given in honor and memory of the late President Dwight D. Eisenhower. It provides stunning views of the Presidential Range, which is located at the nearby White Mountain National Forest.
Picnicking and some pet fun may only be the most popular activities available inside the Eisenhower Memorial Wayside Park, but this seven acre park is still a great stop for some outdoor fun. It is open all year long, albeit unstaffed. If emergency occurs, visitors are advised to call 911 right away.
