The Forest Lake State Park is a state park and recreation area in Dalton, New Hampshire. It is one of the ten original state parks of New Hampshire.
Established in 1935, the Forest Lake State Park is popular for several outdoor activities like swimming, picnicking, boating, fishing, and mountain biking. Canoeing and kayaking are also commonly done inside the 397-acre park.
The Forest Lake State Park features the beautiful Forest Lake, or at least its 200-foot long sandy beach. There?s also a green, grassy area edging the beach, which makes it perfect for picnics and running around.
The Forest Lake State Park is open on specific schedules only. They also charge a fee for visitors and season passes are also available.
