The Hampton Beach Sand Sculpting Competition is an event that started in 2001 with about 220 tons of sand all imported. It lasts for three days and it is participated by the world class masters of this kind of sculpture. Everyone is expected to make their own most unique sculptures. Since it has started, this event that started as invitational only has grown a lot when it comes to boundaries. It has been made to be recognized as the biggest Masters contest in the northeastern part of the US.

This event has definitely attracted a lot of attention of millions of those visiting in the local and international level. Many also just come to watch and witness the competition and also get to take advantage of the great photo opportunities. There are vendors around to keep everyone well accommodated who offer a wide variety of food and beverages along with some souvenirs. This is also a perfect place for those who just love the beach, sun, sand and all its other elements.
