New England?s Hampton Beach Seafood Festival is the largest seaside event in the region. It features up to 60 of the area?s top restaurants that serve lip smacking seafood delicacies. Other activities during the celebration include arts & crafts exhibits, children?s entertainment, culinary chef demos, two music concerts, and a fireworks display which marks the highlight of the whole event.

The said festival all began when a group of business owners who were also members of the Hampton Area Chamber of Commerce decided to organize an Annual Seafood Festival. As their way of promoting the local restaurants in Hampton, they offered samples of each of their seafood specialties.

Today, the Hampton Beach Seafood is among the Top 100 Events in the U.S. and the whole of North America, drawing an estimated crowd of 150,000 and up. It joined in the list of the American Bus Association in 1996, 2001, 2003, 2006, and 2007.
