The Horatio Colony Museum is a Federal Style House that was the residence of Horatio Colony, a descendant of one of the historic families of Keene.

The house today, which can be visited by the visitors, features original family furnishings that are still in their original places and magnificent collections that give visitors a preview of the kind of lifestyle there was. In the Museum, visitors will get to know more about Keene?s history, experience a tour of the area and see enjoy its other offerings. The 3,300-piece-collection includes early paintings, family portraits, a rare book collection, paperweights, andirons, walking sticks, cribbage boards, porcelain figurines, and many others.

It is an intact home that represents three generations of a New England family in the earlier days.
