An annual event held at Weirs Beach in Laconia, New Hampshire, the Laconia Bike Week is a well sought after event by bikers and bike enthusiasts. It traces its history back to 1923 during the Loudoun Classic motorcycle race and the Gypsy Tour. Some even say that it goes back further to 1916, when hundreds of motorcyclists just gathered in Weirs Beach.

The first official event was organized and recognized by what today is known as the American Motorcyclist Association. During the Laconia Bike Week, motorcyclists raced and climbed hills for a whole weekend.

Today, the Laconia Bike Week is already a beloved event in the area. From being a weekend event, it developed to a week-long celebration where local businesses already started offering their services to the guests.
