Built in 1892 for the prominent Boston and Maine Railroad, the Laconia Passenger Station is a historically significant site in Laconia, New Hampshire. This importance is mostly due to its stunning architecture.

Designed by the critically acclaimed architect Bradford Gilbert, who was also known for its work in the Tower Building in New York, which was the first steel-framed curtain wall structure, it is a stunning railroad station. It was even described extensively by the Laconia Democrat upon its dedication in August 1892, pointing its main features to include its port-cochere located at the main entrance and its huge rotunda or general waiting room.

The Laconia Passenger Station was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1982, and now functions as a government office.
